This multi-national developer of embedded software for the connected car and autonomous driving is urgently seeking to strengthen its customer focussed embedded software development team based in Berlin. They are now seeking Software Application Engineers - Embedded Software to work closely with their customer development teams working on ‘next generation’ development projects. The Software Applications Engineers - Embedded Software will be responsible for developing embedded software in C and C++ under Linux and RTOS used in automotive IoT applications. The Software Applications Engineers - Embedded Software will provide technical expertise and support for software development projects both in house and on customer sites. After achieving your technical degree or equivalent you will have been developing embedded software using C and C++. You will have in-depth exposure to embedded Linux and RTOS and have a background developing industrial IoT software aimed at the automotive markets. Any experience developing software at hardware interface for video applications is a benefit as is some knowledge of automotive software quality standards (Autosar, ISO26262, MISRA etc). You need to be fluent in written and spoken English and any exposure to German would be a bonus.
