Group IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator

Reporting to: Group Head of IT

Contractual Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)My client are Europe's leading provider of modern music education and currently runs colleges in six cities - London, Brighton, Bristol, Manchester, Dublin and Berlin. They offer a full range of Higher and Further Education music courses at degree and diploma level, as well as a Post-Graduate Teaching Course. Job Purpose

To provide the highest level of IT service delivery standards which is consistent and compliant with the internal IT policies and procedures for both Students and staff across the Group.Key Responsibilities Administration of the Group's core VMWare and Windows infrastructureAdministration of the Groups cyber security software stackInfrastructure and security project managementShared management of central admin staff support ticketsEnsuring a technical infrastructure which is compliant and consistent with IT PolicyEssential criteriaSecurity software management to include:Vulnerable software patch managementWSUS Server and clientSophos CloudMail security suiteDomain administration management to include the following technologies:VMWareWindows server 2012r2 and aboveMicrosoft 365 (with cloud Exchange)Windows powershellProject managementWindows Remote Desktop managementWindows MFA managementExperience dealing with 3rd party support companiesHighly organised and focused in delivering a fast and high-quality support serviceExcellent customer facing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable criteriaWindows security patchingSoftware vulnerability patchingIntune device managementEnterprise AV managementCyber threat breach managementMail security policy managementSecurity qualifications / ISO27001Technical qualificationsMimecast security suite managementAccountabilityTo undertake all security governance responsibilities to the highest standardTo undertake all management and implementation of existing and future security project deliverables using best practice methodsShared management of the core central server infrastructureShared management of central admin staff support ticketsTo maintain a high level of quality communications with all stake holders during any service effecting investigations or planned intrusive project workTo manage 3rd party relations where the third party is integral to the resolution of a service affecting issueTo perform key technical infrastructure changes in a well-considered and risk adverse manner in line with the business needs.Experienced candidates may have held the following job titles; Information Security Analyst, IT Security Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, InfoSec Analyst, CyberSec Analyst, Cyber Assurance Analyst, Security Assurance Analyst, IT Assurance Specialist, IT Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, Cyber Risk Analyst, Junior IT Security, Junior Cyber, Junior Information Security
