A local authority currently requires a IT Contracts Manager for an initial 3 month contract, paying £34.53 per hour via Umbrella or £27.57 per hour via PAYE. This role is based in North London and we are looking for an immediate start.The post holder must have excellent negotiating skills with the ability to influence staff, including senior staff and other stakeholders together with complex knowledge of MS Office packages, financial systems, report writing and preparing presentations.The post holder must have experience of partnership working, possess working knowledge of using an E-tendering system/portal and experienced in communicating complex information in a variety of forms e.g. presentation, reports and analysis.You must be MCIPS qualified and have the discipline to deliver an agreed work plan, while also working to develop plans for the future, across your allocated areas. The successful candidate must be experienced in delivering complex OJEU tenders and have a sound knowledge of common routes to market used for procuring ICT/ Digital solutions, software and services. This will require the ability to lead and influence a broad variety of stakeholders, likely with different motivations, often within a single project.The candidate will be responsible for:Management of processes, including supplier negotiation, to handle contractual changes, including clear approval mechanisms and accountabilities, and controls to demonstrate that changes offer value for money.Creation, management and improvement of Value for Money measures to demonstrate Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness for Digital/ICT Contracts during the lifecycle against equivalent offerings through benchmarking and open book costing.Manage procurement pipeline of Digital/ICT contracts and ensure delivery of existing and new procurement projects through the identification of compliant routes to market.

Monitor supplier performance to ensure agreed standards are met and implement supplier improvement plans to address the challenges while ensuring service continuity.
