Due to continued growth our well established client is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their team to help them continue in delivering controls & automation solutions to a wide customer base.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle conforming to the latest safety standards and owning the design through to successful implementation into their machinery. You will play a leading role in the design, development and implementation of all PLC software on a range of major new product developments.

The position requires someone who can hit the ground running and who can quickly build relations with colleagues, suppliers and customers. Experience is essential for this role as is the ability to organise your own time, integrate within the team and provide excellent service to our customers. There is scope to progress within the company and they have a strong emphasis on investing talent from within.

Key Skills

Management of specific projects through to completionProgramming PLCs from scratch and are familiar with SCADA systems (Mitsubishi)Demonstrated success in the full project life cycle from concept to commissioningCan successfully collaborate with cross discipline engineering teams

This role will offer you a generous salary up to £50,000 depending upon experience with the opportunity for home working and a great benefits package.
