Some remote workingA Web and Digital Coordinator is required for our public sector client based in Preston.The purpose of this role is to take the lead on the development and management of the websites and internal communications systems including future development of digital capability, content, functionality, analytics, hosting and security provisions.Responsibilities-

To manage the website and sub websites within the portfolio.

To ensure that websites are an integral part of the wellbeing service, service delivery and to exploit new opportunities and new technology as they arise, including the further development of online transactions and services.

To lead on the development of and enhancements to websites, from idea generation to testing and delivery.

To work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure web services deliver business benefits and enhance demand management.

To work with and advise ICT teams nationally, to ensure smooth and efficient access to digital platforms.

To regularly analyse site statistics using software programmes, such as Google Analytics, in order to evaluate success and drive further improvements.

To keep up to date with web technology within the public and private sectors to ensure the organisation benefits from best practice and continues to innovate.

Up-to-date knowledge of web hosting technology

To work with the designated web development company to ensure Ad hoc bug fixes are dealt with in a timely manner

To work with other members of the team to develop creative content including text, images and videos for web.

Excellent working knowledge of Content Management Systems including Wordpress and experience of SEO.

To ensure websites and their content are kept up-to-date and are user friendly.

To work to internal and external Service Level Agreements.

To assist with the delivery of web editing training

Possession of excellent communication skills

The ability to prioritise and organise a varied workload whilst still being innovative and focused on delivering results.

Knowledge of web hosting and web servers, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Understanding of integrating digital media channels, including internal, external websites and social media, to provide a cohesive approach to service delivery.
