Automation TesterLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne or fully remote (including post covid)Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 + benefitsThis organisation are going through a huge period of Digital Transformation and, as such, are looking to develop the way their Testing function is set up. With their products being used widely in their industry, there are also looking to bolster their product offering with the introduction of new technologies and applications.A little about the role:You will come into a brand new Greenfield environment where you will consult the business on all things automation including tools, framework selection and implementationYou will work closely with the Development team to understand how to implement a brand-new automation test strategy, within a cloud based environment.You will create a brand-new Automation Test suite to benefit the functionality of existing applications and products and be instrumental in driving the business from a Test function through their Digital Transformation.You will be joining a highly collaborative team who embrace agile, TDD and BDD. You'll be working for a business with a genuine focus on high quality software and working to industry best practice. A little about you:Ideally, you will have a highly technical skill set with experience in, but not limited to: Web API, C#, Angular, Ruby, Selenium, Cucumber, and any Cloud based technologies such as Docker.
