IT Technical Project Manager Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager looking for a challenging new role working with cutting edge communication infrastructure? You'll be working for an organisation that makes a real difference to society and citizens as an IT Technical Project Manager, to coordinate the migration of a mission critical communication systems from a radio system to a ground breaking national 4g/LTE system. Title: IT Technical Project ManagerDuration: Permanent 2 year fixed term contract.Location: Devon. Commutable from Plymouth, Yeovil, Taunton and Exeter.Salary: c£40,000 on appointment plus generous holiday allowance, pension and flex working.Start date: October 2020. Reporting the ICT Service Delivery Manager, you'll coordinate internal resources (ICT, fleet, Estates, Ops, etc.) & liaise with other partners & the regional & national project teams.As the successful candidate you have excellent skills / ability / track record in the following: Managing complex ICT projects using project management methodologies.Numerical & analytical skills.High level organisational skills & able to deal with competing priorities.Budget management.Motivating others in complex partnerships, where there may be varying levels of motivation & support.Verbal communication / presentations skills inc' proven ability to influence/change stakeholders views. Utilising your project management skills, technical expertise & personal qualities, you'll deliver, defined ICT Projects, taking full responsibility for deliverables & their associated budget management. This will include managing the complex communication requirements of a specific group of stakeholders, many of whom will need significant influence to be fully signed up to the project, as well as managing the delivery of high quality products that are fit for purpose by the organisation. Other priorities will include managing the project's contribution to defined benefits & identifying & managing resources across the organisation to ensure successful delivery to time, quality & cost (in some cases taking on direct line management responsibilities).
