Backend Developer / Software Engineer (Java Spring Kafka SQL AWS) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a data centric technologist? You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology and enjoying a range of perks (including the ability to work full remotely in the UK).

As a Backend Developer you will design and develop new features and components on the Data Analytics platform, producing both detailed technical work and high level architectural design. The platform is built in Java on AWS infrastructure with AWS services and Open Source frameworks; you'll be encouraged to learn new technologies and contribute to the technical discussions.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process and full time work from home (will be expected to visit the offices in London or Leeds occasionally).

Requirements:

You're experienced with core Java and Spring frameworks (SpringBoot, Spring Security)

You have a good working knowledge of Kafka, Hadoop, Spark or other Big Data streaming technologies

You've worked in AWS hosted environments

You have a good knowledge of databases e.g. SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL

You're familiar with DevOps environments / Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

You're collaborative and personable with good communication skills
