2nd/3rd line Support Engineer - Tadcaster - Post-Project Support with progression into enterprise project delivery £30k-£36k
This company has large expansion plans over the next couple of years with the Support function expected to triple in size to keep up with the number of consultancy projects being won.
If the team triples in size (up to about 21) rest assured as one of the first people in the door you'll have a good route into leadership or management positions as the team grows and settles.
From the Support function you can progress into consultancy and project delivery roles in the following:
Virtualisation, Storage, backups - VMWare, Server, Dell and Veeam Networking - CISCO, HP Office 365 - SharePoint, Exchange and the Productivity suite M365/Azure Identity and EM+S - AID, Intune, EM+S Azure - IaaS Firewalls/Security - Palo Alto, Sophos
Experience in these areas will obviously set you up nicely for a career with this company but the real selling point is that this role is an incubator to progress into a career in any of these areas - even the ones you haven't done yet.
With 10/15% of time spent on Personal Development we usually expect 2 certifications a year such with the tendency towards:
MCSA/MCSE AZ Azure exams VCP CCNA/CCNP+ and More If you already have these, great! There are plenty more to chase…
