One of my key clients in Cork, are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team on an initial 12 month hourly rate contract. The company are a global medical device company, specialising in the manufacture of a broad portfolio of medical devices. The company pride themselves on their excellent culture on site. Title: Quality EngineerContract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Location: Cork Your role as a Quality Engineer will be to support any Process validation remediation activities required for EUMDR submission. Responsibilities:Work in a cross functional team with Project Management, R&D, Design Quality, Engineering, Operations and Supplier Management to ensure successful EUMDR implementation.Provide support to Design Quality and R&D to understand manufacturing and process controls for development of Hazard Analysis, Design FMEA's and DV Protocols and Reports.Drive risk reduction and eliminate risks and introduce error proofing through the Risk Management process.Support the compilation of documentation for Regulatory submissions for EUMDR.Ensure Regulatory compliance in area of responsibility to cGMP's of all medical device regulatory agencies.Ensure that all Quality Continuous Improvement ideas are completed in a timely manner and ensure that feedback is delivered to the CI advocates. Requirements:Degree in Engineering / Science Disciplines. 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering within the medical device industry. Proven ability to work cross functionally.
