A leading-edge technology company developing innovative Battery Management System solutions for use in large complex batteries for mobility (electric vehicles, buses, marine) and energy storage (renewables) markets is looking for an Analog Layout Lead for their new ASIC development team. As Analog Layout Lead you will play a key role as part of a team innovating in an application area and market segment that will see enormous growth over the next decade.  In your role as the Layout Lead you are responsible for leading the layout and defining layout strategy and methodology for the layout of Analog Mixed Signal IC Design projects including block level, sub-system and chip level layout, working closely with design to floorplan, layout and sign-off at block and chip level. You will also be responsible for growth and development of the layout team including recruitment, mentoring and supervision of junior engineers and working with and leading contractors to deliver the layout plan  Being the successful Analog Layout Lead, you are industry degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with solid experience in Analogue IC Layout including strong skills and knowledge in LVS, DRC, ERC and chip level sign-off with industry standard EDA tools as well as experience in PDK development and maintenance. Proven experience in leading layout teams to deliver successful projects working closely with analogue and digital designers is essential and you have excellent debug skills and the ability to interpret data and resolve issues.Experience of developing ICs for automotive applications and knowledge of automotive systems, specifications and FUSA Standards (ISO 26262 for example) is beneficial.  This is a great opportunity for a Layout Lead to join a company with a promising future and contribute to the development of cutting edge BMS for a more sustainable future!
