Legal Counsel (In-House)

A global insurance firm are looking for an in-house Legal Counsel.

Due to growth and change in the organisation, they have a new requirement in their well-established legal function for a Legal Counsel.

They are looking for a lawyer with solid corporate experience to join their team in London, supporting their General Counsel. This is a very broad position, in which the focus of the role will be on a mix of corporate and commercial matters with a group wide remit.

Its a great role for broadening your legal skill-set and working in a fast paced, growing organisation, in which you will be given considerable autonomy and the opportunity to develop a function in what is a newly created position.

It is essential that you will have experience in the insurance market, with an understanding of the current regulatory environment. Current or prior in-house experience is preferred.

As an organisation they are well known for their flexible approach to working arrangements, with allowances made for most circumstances. Home working and flexible hours are encouraged as work life balance is a core element of their working culture.
