Technical Architect - 12 Month ContractInside IR35 (Public Sector Client) - £20 per hour - 37.5 hours per week.Our Public Sector client in Portsmouth are looking for a Technical Architect to join their team on an initial 12 Month contract term.Duties: As the Technical Architect you will be expected to play a leading senior technical role in the provision of effective, efficient and fully integrated IT Infrastructure services that maximise their availability and integrity for end-users and optimise the value gained by the organisation from its investment in IT. This will be achieved by:Supporting several projects with the technical expertise required to design, implement and support datacentre technologiesProvide the support for the organisations Software Agile Scrum methodology, providing the technical expertise required to support technical changes and automation with the DevOps approachThe subject matter expert for technical projects that require dedicated support such as, O365 Migration, MS Team integration, Sharepoint Migration, Single Sign-on.ESSENTIALAdvanced theoretical and enterprise knowledge across three or more information technology platforms: Server Virtualisation, Desktop Virtualisation, Data & Voice Networking, Messaging, Storage Area Networks, Security, Mobility, Server & Peripheral Hardware.Significant experience of IT Service Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Performance Management & Availability Management.Significant experience in leading highly complex technical problems to resolution, including team management and managing external suppliers.Significant experience in project delivery of technical projects.Experience in assisting with report writing, being operating procedures, options appraisals, risk analysis, user guides.Skills & Experience: Technical accreditation in at least one or more of the following; Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Virtualisation Expert (CVE) or Citrix Certified Architect(CCA).Experience in an ITIL & DevOps environment.Advanced theoretical and enterprise knowledge across information technology platforms such as: Server Virtualisation, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365, Desktop Virtualisation, Data & Voice Networking, Messaging, Storage Area Networks, Security, Mobility, Server & Peripheral Hardware.Support the Development agile SCRUM methodology as the DevOps lead in true Agile software delivery methodology.Demonstrate Service-orientated, customer-focused characteristicsSelf-motivated, enthusiastic and confident.Methodical, logical and numerate.Patient and flexible, able to operate as part of a team, accepting
