DevOps Engineer - Initial 6 Month ContractInside of IR35 (Public Sector) - £30.00 per hour - 37.5 Hours per week.Our Public Sector client in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to support our clients IT Department. The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in the support and delivery of the organisations in-house developed products. The engineer will be a DevOps evangelist garnering the support and backing from the IT Department. This role will support agile methodology and continuous delivery of organisations systems.

EssentialBS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree)·Experience:Familiarity with container orchestration services, Familiarity with agile software development in C++, Java, JavaScriptExperience administering and deploying development CI/CD toolsSignificant experience with Windows operating system environmentsExperience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or PythonExperience of build and maintaining web serversFamiliarity of version control systemsExperience in a software development team building modern web applicationsExperience with Bootstrap or similar CSS/JS frameworkExperience working with service oriented architecture (SOA)Experience with API design and developmentProficient understanding of database (MSSQL), including T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and componentsCreating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environmentsExperience in dealing with healthcare or sensitive dataExperience in writing strategy documents and implementing them.Experience of managing and supporting large complex integration solutions and app developments.Experience of Scrum framework and Agile processesWriting unit tests with moq or similar testing frameworkExpert knowledge underpinned by experience in our below core technologies :Object Oriented DesignSOLID design principlesC#.NETSQL ServerASP.NET MVCASP.NET CoreAngularHTMLJavaScriptCSSDesirable:Experience building a microservices architectureKnowledge of the below technologies, standards and processesOctopus DeployWCFHL7ITKFHIRITIL
