Java Developer - FX MessagingThe Java Developer, Messaging Platform, is a member of a small, highly focused team, responsible for building services for a highly scalable and robust messaging system, using leading edge technologies. Role Responsibilities:Program using Core Multithreaded Java (must have prior experience)Migrate existing services to microservices, with the goal of reducing complexity at the design and architecture levelWrite unit and integration tests for your Java codeCollaborate with testers in development of test cases for Java codeDevelop deployment systems for Java based systemsCollaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinementMonitor and support the operation of production systemsParticipate in knowledge sharing activities with colleaguesTechnical Skills Requirements:Minimum 3 years of Java Developer experience in an Agile environment, building scalable, multi-threaded applications and servicesAPI development experience in service and resource-oriented architecturesFluency with LinuxPassion for Test Driven Development / Pair ProgrammingUnderstanding of network protocols such as HTTP, TLS, TCPExperience with any of the following is an asset: 3rd generation messaging systems (FIX)Backends for mobile messaging systemsSIP or XMPPSoft real-time systemsExperience doing performance tuningBig Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra, to build applications that contain petabytes of data and process millions of transactions per dayCloud computing, virtualization and containerizationContinuous integration systemsDeployment technology such as Ansible / JenkinsUnderstanding Recruitment is acting as an agency for this Java Developer positionIf you are interested in this Java Developer position, please apply.
