Job Title: Software Support Technician - Sage

Location: Hull

Salary: £17,000 - £21,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week)

The Company is a leading regional IT Solutions Provider and Sage Accredited Business Partner based in Hull. Due to expansion, they are looking for a software support technician to join their growing Sage Team, providing support and guidance for their client base.

The applicant must have experience working in a customer service role environment, have excellent communication skills with customer satisfaction at the forefront.

The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day support of their client base on a 1st line level, responding to incoming telephone queries and emails and providing a credible solution.

As is the nature of this role you may be required to be flexible at times as you may be asked to work outside normal office hours to meet the needs of customers.

Relevant and full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Job Duties:

  • Provide user support to Customer base on Sage/Other software applications (Sage 200, Sage CRM, Sage 50 and CIM) on a first line level and on a potential face to face basis
  • Monitor and action their support mailbox to ensure all tickets are dealt with in line with their SLAs
  • Take incoming support calls from clients
  • Provide their customers with a credible solution in a timely fashion
  • Manage a wide and diverse variety of tickets which you will be responsible for

Key Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Some knowledge/experience of accounting (Sage knowledge would be advantageous)
  • Experience working in a support environment or customer service role
  • Comfortable with computers and IT, including all Microsoft office software
  • Eager to learn with a 'can do' attitude
  • Possess good organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to keep on top of and manage a large and diverse workload
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication
