Java Technical Lead / Manchester / Financial Services / Cloud Innovation / Microservices How does leading the technological change in financial services sound? Machine Learning, AI, APIs and Cloud innovation are just some of the divisions where my North West based client is thriving within the market. Their products have evolved to enterprise scale so naturally the work force has seen the same growth to keep up with their demand. This is where I come into it, they have reached out to me to source a technical lead who shares the same passion for coding, devops and automation as they do to run a small agile team of 5-10 people within their multichannel division. You will lead from the front adhering to best practice to ensure the highest of coding standards are met whilst challenging anything you deem insufficient in providing the best technical delivery. As this is a technical lead role, healthy senior experience is going to put you in the best position or even if you are already a technical lead in a small / medium company and perhaps you want a bigger challenge. Driving your teams development, making business critical decisions and being at the forefront for finding the best tools for market will be part of your day to do. The skill set that's going to open the doors for you here are: Higher experienced programmer using Java, Spring, REST, JSON, Servlets,Experience with the front end with JavaScript Frameworks such as React or AngularAdvocate of a fully automated environment with solid commercial experience in testing, working to a CI/CD, Devops culture.Sharp understanding of Microservices, Cloud orientated workingFinancial experience will benefit you here but by no means is a deal breakerPrevious Senior / Technical Lead experience where you have coached, mentored and implemented change.
