Service Desk Agent

£12- £15 per hour

A Service Desk Agent is required for our Public sector client based in Manchester.

You would be working for the Service desk team and would be playing a critical role in building customer relationships and supporting IT operational activities.

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the role of the Service Desk Agent is to act as the first point of contact on the IT Service Desk.

Operating in an IT Support, ITIL environment, following guidelines and processes you will be handle a high volume of telephone calls and e-mails from customers. Utilising a case Management Software tool, duties will include, logging cases, updating cases with accurate information, assigning priority and ownership and running reports. You will interpret customer information, providing advice and responding quickly and accurately progressing the resolution of the customers IT request / faults.

The successful candidate will have worked in a customer focused IT support role possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess a high level of professionalism.
