PIM Application Manager - Product Information ManagementOur client is Global household name who are now looking to get back into the recruitment market after a short hiatus due to Covid-19.  With this in mind, we are picking up from where we left off looking for an experienced PIM (Product Information Management) Applications Manager.  The role is based in their Head Office, working from home currently, with a small about of travel (10%) when necessary.

Purpose of the RoleReporting to the Global eCommerce & Web Apps Head this role is responsible for the initial implementation of a new PIM system to consolidate several existing systems. During the implementation they will be the technical owner  liaising with the business stakeholders in EMEA and USA as well as the Vendor and implementation partner.After initial implementation the responsibility will be to rollout the application to other regions globally and ensure consistency in the application. As part of the rollout this role will need to ensure the relevant training and support is available.The final portion of this role is to be a local point of contact for the regional business to the Global eCommerce & Web Apps team.Principal Accountabilities

'€¢Own the PIM application and roadmap globally'€¢Ensure that the PIM application is implemented and rolled out according to project management and SDLC standards'€¢Implement a plan to migrate the less mature markets to the standard PIM/DAM solution'€¢Drive Business adoption and cost efficiencies through the global roll out'€¢Provide reporting on the utilization and rollout'€¢Manage the day-to-day support of the application'€¢Manage the application stakeholders and keep them informed of developments with the application'€¢Remain up to date with market trends and eCommerce and web systems capabilities and be the internal expert on all aspects of PIM'€¢Manage the regional support activities as needed related to the Global eCommerce & Web Apps team'€¢International travel up to 10% as needed for projects

Knowledge and Experience

'€¢3+ years' experience managing and running PIM applications and web systems'€¢Knowledge of web applications such as EPiServer and similar cloud-based systems'€¢Experience using/managing InRiver iPMC is preferable'€¢Experience with solving business problems with technology and process'€¢Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment'€¢Must have excellent oral and written communication skills'€¢Robust facilitation skills to lead discussions with senior executives, marketing, peer groups, and associates
