Our Client are looking for a Business Analyst to support them through several iterations of a beta system being used by UK Government.

You will join a small project team delivering a web-based legislation drafting and management service. Working with the Product Manager, you will be a key link between service users, partner stakeholders, and the development team as we incrementally release the service to a growing user base.

Tasks include the creation of training materials covering all system features, tailored to each partner organisation. You will attend regular meetings with our supplier and product owners to support the creation of requirements and assist with regular backlog reviews and release testing. You will also work with the Project Manager to improve user support.Story development - analysing user needs and writing up for developers to implement.Support - managing feedback, identifying support issues, writing up in detail.Communications - producing user manuals, screencasts.Training - deliver training; develop "train the trainer" programme.Quality assurance - carrying out testing, producing test data/reports Key Skills/ExperienceAbility to analyse user needs/business requirements and to produce user stories that developers can implement.Communicating complex information including good verbal and written skills.Communicating complex information including running formal training sessions/programmes.Communicating complex information including communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Developing test scripts and carrying out testing in a logical and systematic way, providing feedback to developers.Effective team working skills to ensure constructive use of everyone's skills and experience within the team.Basic understanding of XML.Able to quickly grasp a wide range of technologies and understand complex systems.Experience of working on Agile development projects.Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, designing user-focused digital systems.Experience of forming effective working relationships with key customers, stakeholders and colleagues within a complex management structure.Experience of developing training materials for bespoke systems.Be able to create engaging screencasts.Experience of working on document production/editing/management systems Business Analyst (Training, Testing), Story Development, Support, Communication, Training, Quality Assurance, Governnment, Parliament, Roadmap, Legislation, Tool, User Base, Project, Software Development, Develop, Training Materials, Requirements, Backlog, Release, User Support, User Needs, Business Requirements, User Stories, XML, Agile, Document Production, Document Editing, Document Management, Remote Working, Government, Public Sector.
