Job Title: Technical Accountant

Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus + benefits

Location: City of London

Client is a rapidly growing Specialty Insurer, is seeking a Technical Accountant to join their team in the City of London.

Key responsibilities:

* To ensure the credit control process operates efficiently and effectively

* To work closely with underwriters, brokers and relevant third parties, building effective relationships

* To ensure the Xchanging error handling process is maintained and developed effectively

* To manage the policy life cycle

* To ensure all aspects of premium are calculated correctly

* To identify and accurately book the allocation of premiums and insurance transactions

Key experience:

* Knowledge of the London market

* Strong Excel skills

* Good commercial acumen

* Ability to work autonomously
