Oracle Analyst - Database / Application

Cheshire

Up to £44000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle professional to join a reputable medium sized business within Financial Services. Based from their modern office near Knutsford, you will be responsible for the development & support of all business system applications.

The majority of their core systems & applications run off of Oracle databases so a good level of experience with Oracle is required.

Main Responsibilities:

* To carry out development, testing and implementation of software, systems as well as enhancements to their internal systems & applications.

* Recommend within projects as well as system improvements

* Act as a technical expert & tech lead for application related projects

* Support members of staff with requests and general support

* Work on system designs and implementations

* Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non tech colleagues

Skills & Experience

* Oracle database experience - SQL, PL/SQL

* Experience with Application express development and administration

* Exposure to database administration in a Linux/UNIX environment

* Experience providing 2nd Line support for databases & associates applications

Desirable

* Oracle FlexCube

* SQL Server, Windows Server

* SAP, IBM MQ

* Webserver knowledge

* Financial Services experience
