A European Investment Bank are now looking to hire a Contract Junior Manual Tester with testing experience of web-based user interfaces. This is a junior role paying £280 per day. As well as testing experience and a good eye for detail, we are looking for a can do attitude and a friendly personality. Financial Industry background & FX knowledge is a 'nice to have'. This is a hands-on role that will involve functional, regression, and integration testing of Jetstream FX and number of channels such as Bloomberg, FXAll, and 360T. You will have an opportunity to work on a range of FX products: Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, and Options. This role could be suitable for someone with a BA/QA profile who is enthusiastic to learn, can pick up things quickly, has 'can-do' attitude, and enjoys working in fast-paced environment.The role will be based in the City of London, UK.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual functional and regression testing of Jetstream FX and channelsDocument, raise, track resolution of issuesBasic troubleshooting of issues by analysing logs and coordinating with third party software vendorsBasic environment monitoring and preparation for testingGather and analyse requirementsDevelop test plan, and write and amend test casesMaintain regression packProactively engage with BAs, Devs, and other teamsMeet release deployment targetsPerform daily environment health checkRequired knowledge and experience:ISEB Certified (desirable)Bachelor's degree in numeric-based subject-Creating test plan and writing test cases- Manual testing of web delivered user interfaces- Issue detection, documentation and managingSpecialist tools: HP Quality Center (desirable), Jira (desirable)Excellent communication skillsValues to include flexibility, can-do attitude, and motivation to learn If you would like to be considered for this role please apply by forwarding your CV
