What we're looking for:
We are looking for someone to lead on change and support for the FCCS application. If you have strong functional knowledge of FCCS and have worked in either a support role or have been involved in a full Lifecycle implementation, then this may be of interest.
FCCS has recently been implemented within Finance, supporting IFRS4 and Solvency II reporting. It will undergo significant change in support of IFRS17 as part of our wider finance transformation programme in the near future.
You will work closely with the external reporting team within finance ensuring we improve use and enable timely, accurate external financial reporting. You will support, continually change, coordinate and maintain the application within the team.
We are open to location with 1 day a week travel to our Bromley Office, South East London!
Who you'll be working with:
Sitting within the Finance Business Application team. The team is responsible for the support and configuration of the key financial platforms (Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, TM1 and Experian Payment Gateway).
Finance Business Applications provides first and second line support for these systems, including integrity of interfaces, user access and operation of key controls. They are also responsible for driving system improvements and provide configuration, development, process and technical SME and change delivery expertise.
What you'll be doing.
Acts as the main point of contact across the business for FCCS resolving all issue such as data feeds, data mappings using data management
Translate end user requirements into a solution design and build
Execute changes to the application in line with requests received from the business.
Preparation of monthly close cycle including master data preparation, task management and integrity reconciliation between FCCS and the ERP GL
Manage and execute all related metadata requests via our master data management tool into FCCS and ensure any issues are promptly dealt with
Development and ongoing maintenance of all FCCS functionality including journal reports, task flows, support of SmartView reports.
Provision of end user training on an ad hoc basis to members of the FCCS user community, either for new joiners or when new functionality is released
Ongoing research and work with the vendor (Oracle) regarding issues with the product, future roadmaps and how this can be best adopted within the business.
Maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders including the functional external reporting team ensuring the application usage is continually embedded and use of FCCS is maximised
