Our client is looking for a CNC Senior Programmer who has proven commercial experienced as Punch and Press Brake CNC Programmer. You will be responsible for leading the co-ordination and optimisation of the state of the art CNC Punch Press and Press Brakes. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience on industry leading custom specification production equipment. Working for the production operation you will be responsible for the full delivery of demanded parts, alongside the review of new products with mind to future proof efficient manufacture of this core machine. Ideally you will to be qualified to HNC level, (or equivalent in an engineering discipline) but not essential and hold a Six Sigma or equivalent manufacturing qualification. You will experience of implementing manufacturing and continuous improvement projects within a batch manufacturing business.The right candidate will be analytical and have a mind set to identify, review and overcome complexities. Whilst specific programming training will be provided, it is essential that the individual has experience of sheet metal punching with a modern CNC punch, alongside the desired level of qualification and engineering discipline.
