Software Engineer / Developer (Java JVM Kotlin AWS) *Remote Interview WFH*. Technologist sought by knowledge-search technology scale-up; you'll be joining a diverse, supportive, tech company with 10% time and an allocated budget to work on your own development projects as well as flexible working (upto 4 days WFH p/week).
As a Software Engineer at this pioneering search technology scale-up you will build features across the ecosystem of products and services, both internal and client facing. You will work with other engineers to remove pain points, optimise workflows and enhance the intelligence and capabilities of the system with exposure to the full development lifecycle, seeing the impact of your work immediately. You'll work with a variety of languages and technologies (predominately Kotlin and AWS) and will be able to impact choices, there's a lot of new Greenfield development projects as well as optimisation and scalability work.
You'll be based in modern open plan City offices with casual dress code and friendly, informal atmosphere; you'll be working with colleagues from bright, motived graduates through to industry leading professionals from companies such as Google and Amazon.
Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures, with as much as four days a week work from home going forward.
Requirements:
Ability to write code in a high level programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby
Keen to work with new and emerging technology such as Kotlin on AWS
Collaborative nature, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
Business acumen / entrepreneurial
Degree educated, Computer Science, Mathematics (or similar numerate discipline)
