Our Client based near Cardiff are looking for a Cyber Security Manager to support them with tasks related to the implementation of their Cyber Security strategy.

The Role:You will have ownership and day to day management responsibility for all Cyber Security systems, applications, policies and processes.You will be a key stakeholder in the identification of cyber security risk and the design and introduction of appropriate mitigation.Responsible for managing the development and ongoing implementation of the Cyber Security strategy and objectivesImplementing and improving procedures and processes to optimise information security effectiveness.Management of cyber security incidents from secondline investigation through to resolution.

Key Skills/Experience:Degree educated in Computer Sciences or a related disciplineExtensive experience in a Cyber / IT Security Management role is essential. This should include business systems (mainly Microsoft based) and industrial control systems Experience of delivering cyber security knowledge and awareness programs to staff, contractors and 3rd partiesPractical IT experience of Operational activities, Infrastructure and/or Development practices)Proven track-record of working as part of a wider team to deliver IT solutions is essentialProven project management skillsKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is desirableMicrosoft Dynamics AX would be advantageous
