Web Developer / Full Stack Technical Lead London to £100k

Web Developer / Full Stack Technical Lead (TypeScript React Redux API AWS Kotlin). Would you like to remain hands-on whilst taking ownership and progressing your career with leadership responsibilities?

You could be joining a successful and growing software house that's smart email product is used by enterprise organisations across the world to help them track, index, tag and search email far more efficiently; it's a highly complex system built with modern technologies and constantly evolving.

As a senior Web Developer you'll design and develop new features and enhancements to the core SaaS platform with scalability and performance in mind. Day to day you will design and develop features on a single page application (React, Redux, Typescript) that is backed by an API (Dropwizard, Kotlin, MySQL), all of which is hosted on AWS.

As a senior member of the team you'll help to provide technical leadership on projects, influence technical discussions and choices, drive best practice and set the standards, mentoring more junior team members in a collaborative Agile environment.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with some flexibility going forward to work 1-2 days a week at home.

Requirements:

You're an experienced software developer with experience of building and running applications at scale

You have experience with a range of technology including TypeScript, React, RESTful backend applications and a backend language such as Kotlin, Java or Node

You have a good knowledge of AWS and its core services e.g. EC2, SQS, RDS, ALM, IAM

You're a confident and collaborative communicator with experience of mentoring others and taking a lead on projects

If you have experience with any of the following that would be great: Progressive Web Applications (PWA); ElasticSearch; knowledge of email standards and protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, POP; functional programming
