We're actively looking for people to join our teams and we're committed in protecting your health and wellbeing during every step of our recruitment process.

If you're successful in securing a role with us you'll find we'll be doing things a little bit differently and it may mean you'll initially join our team by working from home.

During this time we'll work with you to make sure you have the tools and equipment you need and that you feel part of our amazing DLG team!

What we're looking for:

We need a dedicated and creative UI Engineer to build, maintain and optimise our web applications. If you have experience with Angular versions 2+, this is the opportunity for you!

Are you an inquisitive, collaborative, customer-focused engineer looking for an outstanding challenge? Can you work with, and manage code repositories and carry out browser compliance and accessibility testing? If yes, you've come to the right place.

Who you'll be working with:

Green Flag are at the beginning of a very exciting digital transformation journey, which includes the re-platforming of their services. Delivered using SaFE throughout Bromley and Leeds using complete serverless microservices architecture on AWS cloud! You will be working as part of a Scrum Team, alongside a Product Owner, Designer, and Engineers.

DLG Digital is in the driving seat, and we're taking the lead. We're turning our brands into digital leaders and revolutionising how people use our products and services - join our ever-growing Digital Department, work with us, and you'll find an in house role with a start-up feel.

What you'll be doing:

Build responsive, accessible and cross-browser compliant web components whilst following TDD/BDD practices using HTML5, SCSS, Angular, RxJs, TypeScript and Test Automation Frameworks.

Working within an Agile environment, you will coordinate with the Scrum team to prioritise tasks and complete them within mutually agreeable timescales

Support release activity for your Scrum team and ensure products are not impacted for customer/users following deployments

Active in sharing new tools, technology and techniques as part of the Engineering community and to the wider team

What we'll give you:

Join us and you'll find yourself working within one of the most on the go departments in the business. We love to communicate, build and learn, and we make sure we have a phenomenal time doing it. We're always encouraging internal development and you'll have access to loads of learning opportunities, events and conferences to build your industry knowledge. We also have quiz nights, team lunches, wellness walks and team nights out.

We're a diverse, dedicated team of digital professionals re-inventing the digital experience for our customers, our people and our partners. As part of this work we have an opportunity for someone to come and work alongside our product teams and stakeholders to help craft the way we build and develop our customer products for the future.
