Excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional with experience of Highways & Construction to join a steadily expanding company in a highly varied, interesting and challenging position with long term progression opportunities.Based in Bristol this family run company is now a market leader within their industry. Due to steady continued growth they are now in a position to add a Health & Safety Manager to their busy team.In this varied role you will lead the Health & Safety strategy for the company within the construction & highways industry. You will be responsible for audits and reporting while continually trying to improve.The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Health & Safety Manager with the construction industry and hold NEBOSH certification. Experience of Highways is highly desirable.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and expanding company offering a financially attractive, varied and interesting role.The role:

*Create, develop and maintain Health & Safety processes across the company and for teams on site

*Carry out audits, Health & Safety inspections and safety management of sub-contractors

*Responsible for the company H&S strategyThe person:

*Previous experience in a similar role as a Health & Safety Manager

*Previous experience within construction & highways

*Hold Health & Safety qualifications, NEBOSH or similarReference Number: RTR93106E
