An IT Business Analyst is required by global organisation in their state-of-the-art Farnborough offices.

As the IT Business Analyst, you will understand goals and priorities for the global business, including a depth understanding of how the business functions, in order to elicit, validate, and document business requirements and processes, and develop business cases to achieve the Group business objectives, while maintaining alignment with the IT environment and strategy.

Essential Skills for the IT Business Analyst:Hold or be eligible for basic Security ClearanceProven track record of working in a BA role within a large organisationExperience of working on IT projects in both Agile and waterfallSolid understanding of COTS software selectionHave worked within large cross-functional teamsExpertise in Requirements EngineeringSkilled in requirements engineering, process modelling and developing business casesExperience of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levelsBatchelor's or Master's Degree in one of the following; business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field

Responsibilities for the IT Business Analyst include:Support the IT Business Systems Manager with responsibility for a section of the global business systems and communications between Group IT, The company, its Subsidiaries and International operations.Act as an interface between business units and IT to ensure the alignment between the delivery of IT solutions, capabilities, or other project work, and the operational and strategic goals and priorities of the business unit.Maintain an awareness of all planned IT projects, with a view to looking for potential benefits the business unit may gain from joint project participation.Understand the technologies consumed by the business and work with business process and data custodians to ensure that the technologies continue to deliver maximum business benefit.
