C++ Software Engineer Weybridge to £65k

C++ Software Engineer / Developer (SQL TCP/IP Multi-threading) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you an experienced C++ Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to remain hands-on whilst progressing your career, taking ownership of Greenfield projects and gaining leadership skills?

You could be joining a market leading media software house. As a C++ Software Engineer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the flagship product, a pseudo real time C++ multi-threaded global iTV broadcasting application that allows broadcasters worldwide to automate playout, handle acquisition, allow low and high resolution editing, manage assets and provide audience information for advertising.

As a C++ Software Engineer you'll also contribute to continuous process improvement of the software development practices, mentor junior developers and set up / configure test environments. There are a number of technical challenges to tackle and Greenfield projects to get involved with as well as opportunities to take ownership and lead the technical direction.

Requirements:                                                 

Strong Object Orientated C++ coding skills

Experience with multi-threaded, high performance code

Good understanding of Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP

Understanding of SQL

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail

Likely to have a Computer Science degree
