Is your job role becoming routine?Are you tired of working on the same types of machinery and control systems, for the same industry?There is an exciting opportunity available for a Principal Controls Engineer to join a dynamic systems integrator in Peterborough, who work on diverse automation projects across a wide variety of market sectors including Automated Manufacturing, Packaging and Bespoke AutomationWorking alongside an experienced team you will enjoy involvement in the full lifecycle of automation projects from specification, through programming to commissioning. This is a small and successful business with a strong pipeline of future projects, which is driving the need to grow the team.This is a company who like to play to people's strengths, so you will have the flexibility to excel in the technical areas which you are best at, whilst having the opportunity to develop your skills in new fields. This can include PLC, HMI and SCADA work, with projects also incorporating motion control and robotics.To apply for this role you will should have at least several year's experience in industry, and must have programmed PLCs from scratch preferably either Siemens or Allen Bradley.This position will provide a salary up to £48,000 depending upon experience, with the option for occasional working from home available.If you would like a position which will be interesting, varied and allow you to grow your technical skills then please reply today.
