Business Analyst for PAS

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BUSINESS ANALYST WITH NHS EXPERIENCE THAT HAS WORKED WITH PATIENT ADMINISTRATION SYSTEMS.

Summary:

My Healthcare client is looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst to work within a PAS Improvement and transformation programme. This initiative will be looking to deliver:

*Strategic and deeper integration with the Trusts EPR (PPM+) across administration and clinical pathways reducing dual/manual data entry across multiple systems

*To improve outpatient clinic scheduling and patient waiting lists, and

*To identify and deliver the benefits from a range of other service improvement process and software initiatives that will also deliver standardisation across operational patient administration processes and a refreshed PAS training product.

Responsibilities:

*Working with the programme Transformation Lead to map out clinical and administrative processes, helping them to agree operational best practice standards and future workflows, including identification of operational efficiencies and standardisation

*Provide and support the implementation of business change initiatives and PAS upgrades

*Elicit and clearly document business and system requirements

*Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, prioritisation, use cases, sequence / flow diagrams, future state proposals)

*Benefits identification, measurement, and realisation plans

*Managing other analysts in the development of more detailed / technical requirements

Experience:

*Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst

*Proven training / recognised qualification / experience in Business process modelling

*Process improvement work in healthcare, and ideally have experience of working with NHS Patient Administration systems and related operational processes

*Working with business analysis toolsets and within various project methodologies

*Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

*Effective communication and leadership skills

*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
