Software Engineer / Developer London to £120k *Remote Process WFH*

Software Engineer / Developer (Linux SQL C++). Skilled Software Engineer with back office trading systems experience sought by hugely profitable algorithmic trading company.

As a Software Engineer you'll focus on post trade systems (commission computation, end of day trade settlement feeds, reconciliations and reporting) of fully automated trading strategies built using C++ and Python and running on Linux servers deployed within the company's data centres as well as co-location sites. You'll be hands-on, developing enhancements for middle and back office applications, either working autonomously or as part of a small team. You'll partner with global counterparts to ensure maximum reuse of effort and take ownership of production systems, providing 3^rd line support when necessary.

You'll based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit and 360 views of the City.

Requirements:

Indepth of experience with Python on Linux with SQL databases

Experience with trading, settlement and / or market data interfaces with a good understanding of the trade lifecycle

Experience with globally distributed systems and high availability architectures

Degree educated having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical discipline

Nice to have: C++, Java, Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), JavaScript
