Research & Development ScientistTrowbridge, Wiltshire£24,000 - £28,000 (Pro Rata) + Holiday + PensionExcellent opportunity for to join a leading medical company where you will work on a crucial development to aid with the effort in the fight against COVID-19.This company specialise in medical technology and have a strong track record and are at the forefront of their industry. They are in an exciting period of expansion and are looking for R&D Scientists to work on the development of a pioneering new product to aid with COVID-19 testing. This is initially an 8 month contract with a view to going permanent.In this role you will be working closely with scientists and engineers, using laboratory equipment and developing experiments. Your role will be split between Research & Development and Quality Control. You will also be reporting on your work and findings.The person will be at least degree qualified within a Biosciences discipline as well as having practical laboratory experience either in a work or academic setting. Experience within IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics)/Molecular Diagnostics/Nucleic Acid Assay Development highly advantageous.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company and work on a pioneering project where you will be able to positively impact people's lives across the country and world.The role:
