To help with the growth the company is looking for someone who understands technology, data and SaaS. As a Business Analyst you work between the business and the development team helping to translate business requirements into design developed by the software teams. The Role: As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for driving the development of the products features, services and product solutions from initial concept through to operation. You will be writing high spec business requirements, user stories and feature specs. Meeting expectations of internal and external stakeholders and helping in the rapid development of the solutions following agile methodology. As such you have the opportunity to influence the way our business grows. Areas of Responsibility: + Work with internal stakeholders, and occasionally external stakeholders to understand and investigate their needs and feedback into the product design, covering all aspects including UX design
+ Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
+ Help with the development process and prioritise the team goals
+ Ensure processes have training documentation which is kept up to date
+ Support the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
+ Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation. Primary Activities: + Requirements elicitation (Including running workshops, customer journey mapping)
+ Writing high quality Business Requirements Documentation
+ Creating Process Mapping diagrams
+ Writing high quality User Stories and Feature specifications
+ Able to work on multiple projects within the project time frames
+ Attend daily SCRUM meetings and work directly with developers
+ Stakeholder relationship management, with the ability to communicate and present to a range of audiences and reaching consensus between different needs
+ Business process improvement using process & data analysis
+ Helping to build the product strategy and future goals. Skills + Ability to both understand the strategy of the product and have the critical/detailed eye to ensure it meets the customer needs.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
+ Have an Agile mindset and able to handle changing business needs & priorities
+ The ability to motivate others and lead change
+ The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes
+ A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
+ Strong analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
+ Able to grasp new technologies and identify how that can be used in the product
+ A strong interest in business and business development
+ A good understanding of information technology Qualifications & Experience: Essential: + Proven at least 4 years of working with technical systems, data and as a business analyst
+ BCS Diploma in Business Analyst or equivalent
+ Proven experience of gathering and documenting high quality business requirements (functional & non-functional)
+ Working knowledge of XML/ SQL
+ Working knowledge of Google analytics or similar tools
+ User Acceptance testing Desirable: + Financial/Account/Credit Control knowledge and understanding will be a huge benefit.
+ Knowledge of SaaS solutions especially AWS
+ Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development
+ Knowledge of Behat
+ Knowledge of Jira/Bitbucket software
