£30,000-£40,000 + Progression + Development + Training + Pension + HolidayExcellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a market leading organisation offering a varied and interesting day to day role, additional training and development, and long term stability and security.This company are going from strength to strength. They operate right at the forefront of technology when it comes to physical security and outside the box solutions within the delivery and haulage industry. Due to recent uplift in these markets, this company's order book is exceptionally full.In this role you will work closely with the workshop team to create bespoke prototype parts and products. You will be part of an R+D team of 8, consisting of Service Engineers, Management, Software Engineers, and of course Design Engineers. You will create 3D technical drawings for use in manufacture using a Solidworks CAD Package. You will be office based in Stockport, Monday to Friday.The ideal candidate will be a confident Mechanical Design Engineer, familiar with technical 3D drawing design. As this role is in the R+D Department you will occasionally use basic hand-tools on recently manufactured parts.
