Quality Control / QC Engineer

Client is a specialist supplier of display and merchandising to global brands providing a more efficient supply model for POP that emphasises global consolidation and a highly efficient supply chain from manufacturing around world.

Originally founded in the 90s, the company reinvented itself in 2009 embarking on a program of expansion that has resulted in rapid growth with offices in London, Chicago and Suzhou and with customers all over the world.

Key Functions:

- You will lead the QC assigned of the projects - ensuring complaints are dealt with in a time and cost efficient manner, as well as overseeing Quality related projects within the Production, Development and Manufacturing facility. You will also help shape strategies for moving the team forward whilst both meeting and exceeding targets and objectives.

- To support Europe, USA-based supply managers in increasing the procurement contribution to our success through the achievement of lowest total acquisition costs on every project.

- To support the Supply Director in achieving key strategic objectives to progressively develop the breadth and quality of our supply base in China with new regions, vendors, materials and processes.

- To provide a professional first local point of contact for Asia-based clients when required.

- To identify areas with QC improvement possibilities and work with Europe, USA-based supply managers to deliver improvement projects.

Skills, Aptitudes & Experience Required:

3-5 year's experiences of QC in a retail or display environment.

Fluent in Turkish speaking.

With a proactive approach to problem solving, can work under pressure, and possess extensive commercial knowledge at the POP market.

Proven project management skills.

Experience of project governance and its effective application.

A high level of numeracy and good attention to detail.

High level of time management and personal organization.

Excel, PowerPoint, word, & Microsoft project skills.

Data analysis skills.

Good team player

Good communicator.
