Senior IT Systems EngineerSalary: up to £35,000 dependant on experience

Location: North Nottingham

Job Type: PermanentI have an exciting opportunity to join one of our highly respected organisations here in north of Nottingham.

My client is looking for a Systems Engineer who is looking for that next step up as the Lead/Senior IT Systems Engineer where you will be leading other support engineers and also provide hands on IT support. They will hire during this time too as this is a critical role for the organisation.The role in summaryWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (Saturday work - usually 1 in 4) We operate two shifts a day 8-4 and 10-6, this is on a rota base and alternates weekly.

Location: Based at the Head Office in North Nottingham - however there may be a requirement to travel to other branchesWe are looking for a hands on candidate with the following skills and experience;. Problem analysis and resolution skills

. Strong written and verbal communication

. Excellent attention to detail

. Good technical knowledge of supporting Windows Server & Desktop operating systems

. Configure & deployment of Servers, PC's & Laptops.

. Active Directory Administration including Group Policy

. VMware Virtualisation Technology

. Microsoft Outlook & Exchange Administration

. Microsoft Office 2016

. Printing & Scanning, configuration and management

. Anti-Virus & Encryption

. Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, Patching & Wireless connectivity)

. Avaya IP Telephony is desirable

. Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
