Job Title: Glazing Service/Small Works TechnicianBased: Pool, RedruthSalary: £22,000 - £27,500+ (depending on skills and experience)Job Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking Hours: 44.5 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.30pm and 8am to 5pm on FridayThis Cornish manufacturing company, which was established in 1985, are currently looking for a Service/Small Works Engineer, based out of their factory and showroom in Pool, Redruth. They design, fabricate, and install conservatories, orangeries, windows, doors and glass balustrading for residential, commercial and trade customers. They have a large showroom displaying both bespoke and standard designs and pride themselves on their well-deserved reputation for innovative design, high quality products and excellent workmanship, followed up with genuine after sales service.The Role:They're currently looking to recruit an experienced Service/Small Works Engineer to join their expanding team to service and maintain their window, door, conservatory, and balustrade installations within Cornwall.You will be responsible for all service work, identifying and the procurement of parts where necessary. You will also be expected to carry out small works orders which will be planned by the Installation Manager.Company vehicle, fuel card, and uniform will be provided.Key Duties:Managing your own diary on the CRM system, booking service calls, and attending customers' homes as requestedCarrying out emergency calls to customers as and when requiredEnsuring the vehicle is fully stocked with all components to complete service callsReporting any fitting problems to the Installation ManagerProcuring parts and ensuring the correct parts are received prior to contacting the customerDelivering a high standard of customer serviceThe Candidate:Essential knowledge, skills and experienceThe ideal candidate will have experience of window, door, conservatory, and balustrade installation work.Applicants must have a valid, unexpired driving license.Personal qualitiesHighly organised with ability to multi-taskConfident, self-motivated with the ability be able to work within tight time scalesHave a smart appearanceA keen eye for detail with an ability to foresee potential issues.Trustworthy and reliable.Excellent communication skills.To apply for these roles please click APPLY button to send in your CV and Covering Letter.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Service Technician, Welder, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Glazing Service Technician, Fitter, Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technician, Service Engineer, Installation Engineer, Repairs Engineer, Double Glazing, Conservatory, Double-Glazed Windows, Conservatories will also be considered for this role.
