DevOps Engineer London to £65k

DevOps Engineer (Cloud AWS GCP Linux IaC) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a skilled DevOps engineer with a data centric mindset? You could be joining a global games software house, working with the latest technologies and progressing your career in a diverse and supportive team environment.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll join the team responsible for providing data process flow automation to migrate and continuously ingest the Data Warehouse to a Hybrid Cloud, using both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to manage and provide real-time streaming services from on premise systems to the cloud services. You'll collaborate with DBAs, Data Engineers, Production Engineering and Infrastructure teams to deliver shared services and remove the barriers between data and operations making data more easily accessible to users by redesigning the data analytics pipeline to be more responsive, efficient and robust.

Requirements:

Experience of working with AWS or GCP technologies to design and implement cloud native systems

Strong Linux knowledge

Exposure to Data Pipelines (Ingest & Store, Data Preparation, Automated quality gate testing) with ability to orchestrate and automate the data analytics pipeline to make it more flexible whilst maintaining a high degree of quality

Understanding of building and managing the production environments with any Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and Google Cloud Deployment Manager

Experience with building CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible

Collaborative with good communication skills, keen to learn and share ideas in a diverse team environment
