Manual MachinistPoole£15.00 to £20.00 per hour (37.5hour week)Are you a Manual Machinist with experience of Grinding, Lapping, Fettling etc. looking for a days based, long term contract?Do you want to work on a pivotal project for a reputable business who are thriving during the pandemic?This company specialises in the production, assembly and testing of hydraulic equipment for a range of different industries. They have been fully operational over the lockdown period and due to sign off on a new major project.In this role you will work Monday to Friday days with a 12:30 finish on Fridays. You will be mostly workshop based carrying manual machining work including, but not limited to Grinding, Lapping, Fettling, etc. You will also get involved in Inspection and Assembly work.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with manual machining, be able to read engineering/technical drawings and be comfortable undertaking inspections on their work.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a lucrative project for a market leader where you will have the chance boost your earnings through overtimeThe Role:

*Workshop based role

*Manual Machining - Including but not limited to Grinding, Lapping etc.

*Inspection of work and interpretation of technical diagrams

*Mon-Fri Days based. 12:30 Finish on Fridays. - 37.5hr weekThe Person:

*Experience within machine shop environment

*Good knowledge of manual machine shop work - Grinding, Lapping etc
