Automation EngineerHolmes Chapel6 monthsUp to £50 per hour JOB PURPOSETo provide technical / engineering expertise for the development, installation, maintenance and compliance of process and equipment automation systems at Holmes Chapel. KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIESJob DescriptionTo ensure that all process and equipment automation systems are correctly introduced to site, are maintained in an operational and compliant state and technical issues are resolved quickly through effective problem solving so that they always meet the needs of the business.To prepare and maintain accurate engineering and validation documentation for process and equipment automation systems in order to support cGMP.To continuously improve the site's compliance status and audit readiness by defining the standards and practices for the development, installation and maintenance of process and equipment automation systems and ensuring they are complied with.To determine and apply best practice with respect to the use of process and equipment automation systems at Holmes Chapel.To ensure that engineering projects involving process and equipment automation systems are delivered correctly to meet time, cost and quality requirements.To communicate the requirements for process and equipment automation systems to external contractors and to train and coach internal associates in their use and maintenance.
