My client are recruiting for a Lead iOS Developer who must have a strong background in Objective-C and Swift to be based in Newcastle, UK The company has created an app that has over 80 million users worldwide and have been recognised by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 after doubling their revenue in a year. The role includes the development of existing new features and improving the stability of the iOS Client. Your role will encompass the entire software development life-cycle, including requirements capture, prototyping, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. Role & Responsibilities Collaborate with a team to design and build new features for the iOS app Help maintain code quality, organisation and stability Improve the performance and responsiveness by re-factoring older code Work closely with designers to create a beautiful app Work closely with external beta testers, to gather feedback and insight Skills & Qualifications In depth knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc Be passionate about making beautiful iOS apps that are simple and easy to use Be confident in your abilities to shape a platform with a huge user base Have an understanding of the intricacies of iOS and its human interface guidelines The ability to communicate technical concepts Be self-motivated with strong organisational skills Think like a team member, not a code-monkey Benefits 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Company bonus scheme Casual working environment
