Software Developer in Test London to £75k

Software Developer in Test / QA Test Automation Engineer *Remote Interview WFH*. Massively profitable algorithmic trading firm is seeking a Software Developer in Test with strong Python coding skills. Joining a highly driven, Agile development team that cares about code quality, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the proprietary automated testing framework to test high-performance, scalable, data-driven Internet applications with browser based interfaces.

Responsibilities as a Software Developer in Test will include the design and development of automated test cases as part of the project delivery lifecycle. You'll be working closely with development, business and trade desk teams to support and co-ordinate any testing requirements, highlight potential risks and extend the automated test framework and will play a key role in the creation of a new FX exchange.

Requirements:

Strong QA testing skills with experience of creating and implementing automated test cases and test frameworks from scratch

Strong Python coding skills

Good knowledge of Linux OS, able to perform basic sys admin

Good knowledge of SQL, ideally PostgreSQL

Experience of testing real-time systems (ideally financial but could be other e.g. telecoms)

Familiar with CI/CD, Jenkins, source control systems such as SVN, git and bug tracking tools such as JIRA

Collaborative team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Degree educated, Computer Science / Engineering preferred

Desirable: Python nose testing
