Read on… You'll have operational day to day responsibility of delivering business software solutions to support the services by the delivery of simple, intuitive & effective technology to enable the business to provide cost effective 1st class customer services, improve operational efficiency, deliver relevant & reliable information to the business. This role includes line management & leading the application team, responsible for system service improvements, business system upgrades & incident resolutions to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction within agreed SLA's & ensure suppliers are managed effectively, forming partnerships & adhering to agreed performance SLA's. You will provide a high-quality support service for business applications. This involves, but is not limited to, applying technology skills to system, data & application projects, managing technical resource, creating & updating interfaces, supporting current applications, providing subject matter expertise with regards to software & technology, participating as a member of information technology teams, contributing to data architecture discussions, investigating the use of new development tools, & facilitating change. You will be the face of Business Software Services to internal customers, ensuring strong relationships are developed & maintained between internal customers & IT, ensuring productive relationships with senior management team at all levels. This includes developing a high performing team which has a customer focused & data led culture for delivery & are the business partner for all IT services.Working closely with the Head of IT Systems, Data & Cyber Security, you will help define strategy for systems, the team & support the digital development team in delivery core product to customers. Title: Application Systems Manager. (Business Systems Manager/Business Applications Manager)Location: London based with working from home available.Salary: £60,000 - £72,000 per annum dependant on experience + benefits (pension flex working).Duration: Permanent appointment.Start Date: ASAP but client will wait for the right person. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your experience of: - customer focus, commercial awareness, being accountability, service improvement, communication, inclusion and management (leading by example & with empathy). You'll have gained proven experience of ownership of an Applications' Estate, Service Desk Management in a complex, large, diverse organisation, service delivery through a 3rd party supplier, understanding of operations & business priorities, implementation of IT software systems in a complex environment, liaison with key business stakeholders, vendor & contract management, project methodologies (Agile & Prince 2) & use of Service Management & reporting tools within an ITIL Framework.
