The Role:

You will be based remotely and work from home full time.

You will manage development resources across multiple publishing solutions and be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical solutions, resources and process to deliver software leading long-term improvement whilst implementing and contributing to the SAGE Technology strategy.

You will also be required to perform Senior Development tasks to maintain and build publishing solutions for the business.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage the development team to implement enhancements and maintain SAGE publishing platforms and solutions.

Manage direct reports to ensure performance and goals are met.

Communicate company and strategic objectives to the team.

Contribute to the development of strategy, policy and practice.

Focus developing features and capabilities desired by the business.

Work with other Agile team members and build strong working relationships.

Provide architectural design guidance on new features.

Implement Lean IT strategies to improve efficiencies.

Research and implement development standards to improve the quality and quantity of solutions.

Skills/Qualifications:

Significant experience in applicable software development.

Experience as a full stack developer using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, C#, MVC, React, .Net Framework and .Net Core.

Proven management experience.

Experience working in a telecommuting capacity as part of an Agile team.

Able to act quickly and develop quick solutions as well as more modular frameworks.

Strong planning and organising skills.

High level of attention to detail.

Demonstrable ability to independently prioritise and balance multiple activities and deadlines.

Superb communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional attitude.
