C# Software Engineer Devonport, Plymouth SF31394

Here at Babcock international., we are growing a dynamic highly motivated team of C# Software Engineers to work within the Mission Systems business of DST on a number of challenging simulation projects.

As a C# Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team to develop software and hardware solutions in support of a number of Simulation Projects. You will have an understanding of various development methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) and would have a good working knowledge within MS DevOps and Visual Studio IDE. The role would suit someone who enjoys the challenging software development projects that will form core of a simulation and training environments.

The difference the C# Software Engineer will make: Enhance the Software Development Team skills and provide the key skills necessary to develop new Simulation and Training Systems. In this role, you will enable efficient development of complex simulation environments.

From our C# Software Engineers (Simulation), we are seeking:

* Significant development experience in C# and ideally WPF or simulation background * Experience of various development Methodologies * Knowledge of Software testing techniques (ISTQB) * Strong Software development / hands-on C# coding experience * Someone for whom collaboration and working as part of a team comes naturally *A driven individual who wants to make a positive impact and a desire to succeed * A pro-active engineer with a theoretical and practical engineering background and or willing to learn * Hardware, Software, IT and or network integration skills

An ability to grow into a senior development role with a willingness and hunger to learn and develop new skills (software & hardware would also be great!
