We are looking for 2x Overhead Fibre Cabling Engineers to work on an initial 6 month contract starting in Norwich. This role has the possibility of becoming permanent and will suit people with strong operational experience in overheadfibre cable install on the Openreach network.Overhead Fibre Cabling Engineer responsibilities will include:
Working in Openreach cabinets completing fibre connectionsProviding new installations on new and existing BT poles
Installation of overhead fibre cablesConnection into customer premises

Comfortable working at heightsPrevious overhead fibre installation experience and hold valid BT accreditationsA valid NRSWA Street works Operative Licence Unit 2NOPS registrationIPAF Certificate cherry picker (preferred)Full driving licenceFirst aid qualification Please state in your application if you hold any of the following Openreach accreditations

In return, the Openreach Engineer will receive a pay rate of £250.00 - £350.00 per day (accommodation NI). Due to the nature of this role candidates should already have had a valid CRB check done within the last 3-6 months. For successful applicants, video interviews will be conducted via Zoom or WhatsApp / onsite in the Norwich depot. This role has a one-stage-interview process and positions are available to start immediately. Covid-19 secure procedures have been put in place to ensure the safety of site staff.
